Fall minis are more traditionally posed with a little in the moment style.
If you want or need a session that is more candid and interactive, or of you think you need more time for a shy kiddo, you will need to book a bigger session. My Basic and Luxe sessions have more with time and can cater to the needs of babies and kids that may not be able to take direction or just need time to warm up or settle in. Mini's are not ideal for little ones that are shy or have stranger danger.
Session focuses on family shots. I will do individual shots of children or group shots. Both are not promised. This will be based on time and cooperation. If you would like more options/groupings, you can upgrade to a bigger session.
This session is intended for single families (all members living in the same household), kids (siblings only) couples, maternity and high school seniors. Babies must sit well on their own to be photographed individually. If you have extended family (grandparents, parents, children, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles etc.), please contact me for pricing). Session is not recommended for newborns or babies younger than 3 months.
Availability
When bookings first open, you can choose your date and location from the available dates and the location list below. Once bookings start to fill up and the later in to the season we go, the more limited spots will become. The sooner you book the better your chance of getting a date and location that work for you.
Sessions take place on Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
Time slots start for sessions will be about 1-2 hours before sunset. This time will vary based on the month, week and location you choose for your session. These times may also change by 10-20 minutes if the day of your session is cloudy. You will need to be flexible.
Once you have paid your booking fee, If you have chosen September, contact me right away to choose your date. If you choose October, I will put you on the reserved list and I will contact you once I open the month to choose your date. The reserved list gets first dibs on availability.
Locations:
Aroma Park-tall grass, some trees, sunset availability but not guaranteed
Perry Farm -Tall grass, trees, sunset availability but not guaranteed
State Park (no river locations)- lots of trees, some sun, not a sunset type location, earlier time slots
Location TBD- time slot is before a full session in my schedule and location will be chosen by the full session client. I will let you know the location a day or two prior to your session.
SEPTEMBER
September is usually warmer and still very green. Locations still have a summer feel to them and I would dress accordingly. Session usually take place between 5pm-6:30pm. The later in to the month you go, the earlier they get.
OCTOBER
October can be warm and early in the month is can still be pretty green. Every year is different, but leaves do not normally start to change until mid to late October. I wish I could promise pretty fall colors for everyone’s session but it is really hard to predict that. You will just have to choose a date and hope for the best! It can still be warm or it could be very cool! PLEASE DRESS ACCORDINGLY or be prepared to make wardrobe adjustments if needed. Session times are usually between 4pm-6pm. Start times are earlier the further into the month we go.
BOOKING FEE/PAYMENT AGREEMENT
A non refundable booking fee is required to book and hold your spot. This fee holds your spot on my schedule and will come off the total due. This fee is not refunded or transferred if you cancel your session. You will forfeit this fee in that case. If we reschedule due to weather and you cannot make the new date, your fee is credited towards a future session that must take place by 12/31/25. After this date, the booking fee is forfeited (There are NO exceptions). Rescheduling due to weather is at my discretion only. I may reschedule if it is too cold (below freezing), snowing, raining, too windy or too cloudy.
****If you need to reschedule your session for ANY reason, other than when I reschedule due to weather, a new booking fee is due. This includes illness, sports, scheduling changes/conflicts etc. Rescheduled session must take place by 11/30/25. If you cannot find a date that works, your fee is forfeited and not credited towards a future session.
Final Payment is due by 4pm the day before your session paid via invoice. All unpaid invoices will be canceled at that time. If your invoice cancels your session will also cancel with no refund or credit of booking fee. I am currently not accepting cash, checks, venmo or paypal. Fall is my busiest season and trying to keep up on editing, sessions, gallery deliveries and emails is a lot and I am only one person. Chasing down unpaid invoice is very time consuming and can be an overwhelming task when there are so many. Please be sure to pay your invoice on time.

WARDROBE
I will be sending a prep guide after you book. This will go over wardrobe tips, guidelines and inspiration. For fall sessions, neutral and earthy tones are great! As well as colors that are deep and rich in color as opposed to bright. Fall sessions are best with a warm or neutral color pallet.
This will also includes tips on planning and preparing as well as the directions to the location.
