End of Summer Mini

This mini is perfect if you missed the summer sessions! Life can keep you busy! End of summer mini is the last chance to get some of the summer feels in your session without the heat and before the fall colors start to kick in. September is a great month for this since the temps are usually a little cooler than summer, but everything is still pretty green and hasn't started to change too much yet. There are also earlier start times as sunset is getting earlier!
This mini will be more traditionally posed, but relaxed with a little in the moment style. Session focuses on group shots if your session includes more than one subject. I will do individual shots of children if time and cooperation allows. For more groupings and variety, you will need to book a full session.
This session is intended for single families (all members living in the same household), kids (siblings only) couples, maternity and high school seniors. Babies must sit well on their own to be photographed individually. If you have extended family (grandparents, parents, children, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles etc.), please contact me for pricing). Session is not recommended for newborns or babies younger than 3 months.
Location
I will be holding these sessions at two different locations. Sessions will be taking place at Willow Haven in Kankakee in an open field area or I will also have another location in Kankakee in a prairie setting with grass trails.
BOOKING FEE/PAYMENT AGREEMENT
A non refundable booking fee of $25 is required to book and hold your spot. This fee holds your spot on my schedule and will come off the total due. This fee is not refunded or transferred if you cancel your session. You will forfeit this fee in that case. If we reschedule due to weather your fee is credited to the new date. If you cannot make the new date, your fee is credited towards any future session that must take place by 12/30/26. After this date, the booking fee is forfeited (There are NO exceptions). Rescheduling due to weather is at my discretion only. I may reschedule if it is too cold (below freezing), snowing, raining, too windy or too cloudy. Credit only applies if I reschedule due to weather.
Rescheduling for any reason other than weather will be very limited. Please be sure the date works for you before booking. Rescheduling is very inconvenient to my schedule when planning sessions, scheduling editing days and reschedules due to weather. There will be a rescheduling fee of $25 that is in addition to all other fees. I may not be able to accommodate all reschedule requests and you will lose your booking fee if there are no new dates available or if I do not have one that works for you.
Final Payment is due 24 hours prior to your session. I will send an invoice to paid on line by 5pm the day before your session. Your invoice will cancel at that time. If your invoice cancels, your session will also cancel. There is a $50 fee to resend your invoice and to reschedule your session. I am currently not accepting checks, cash apps, Venmo or PayPal.

WARDROBE
Wardrobe varies by the time of year and location. Both locations will still feel very summery and green with a bit more yellow. Wardrobe should still feel summer and light! Colors like shades of white and neutral work great in these locations. You can also go with colors that are bold like red, some black is ok and navy. Mix up colors and avoid matching. choose peives that coordinate as opposed to matching. I will send more info on wardrobe after booking.
