Fall Mini

Fall minis are more traditionally posed, but relaxed with a little in the moment style. More focus on everyone looking at the camera. Session focuses on family shots. I will do individual shots of children or group shots. Both are not promised. This will be based on time and cooperation.
If you want or need a session that is more candid and interactive, if you would like more variety and grouping options or of you think you need more time for a shy kiddo, you will need to book a full session.
This session is intended for single families (all members living in the same household), kids (siblings only) couples, maternity and high school seniors. Babies must sit well on their own to be photographed individually. If you have extended family (grandparents, parents, children, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles etc.), please contact me for pricing). Session is not recommended for newborns or babies younger than 3 months.
WEEKDAY DATES: I have several weekday evenings available. Dates are listed below. I may open more dates as these fill. There are two different locations available and vary by date.
I have two locations for weekday dates. Sessions will take place at Willow Haven or the Aroma Park location. Location is indicated in the booking dates below.
I may add time slots on random dates that take place before a full session and those locations may vary. The client with the full session spot will choose the location.
SATURDAY DATE: I also have ONE Saturday morning option available. I may add more time slots as the date fills. If we need to reschedule due to weather another Saturday may not be available. You will need to be flexible for this as my schedule will be full and rescheduling can be complicated.
The location for this date will be the State Park.
There is generally beautiful fall color, trees and tall grass. The later into October we go, the better chance of fall color.
OCTOBER
October can be warm and early in the month is can still be pretty green. Every year is different, but leaves do not normally start to change until mid to late October. I wish I could promise pretty fall colors for everyone’s session but it is really hard to predict that. You will just have to choose a date and hope for the best! It can still be warm or it could be very cool! PLEASE DRESS ACCORDINGLY or be prepared to make wardrobe adjustments if needed.
October can be very beautiful and still slightly warm, but it can also be cold, blustery and cloudy. I try not to reschedule fall minis unless it is below freezing, raining or snowing. And yes, snow has caused a reschedule before.
BOOKING FEE/PAYMENT AGREEMENT
A non refundable booking fee of $50 is required to book and hold your spot. This fee holds your spot on my schedule and will come off the total due. This fee is not refunded or transferred if you cancel your session. You will forfeit this fee in that case. If we reschedule due to weather and you cannot make the new date, your fee is credited towards any future session that must take place by 03/31/27. After this date, the booking fee is forfeited (There are NO exceptions). Rescheduling due to weather is at my discretion only. I may reschedule if it is too cold (below freezing), snowing, raining, too windy or too cloudy.
Final Payment is due by 5pm the day before your session paid via invoice. All unpaid invoices will be canceled at that time. If your invoice cancels your session will also cancel with no refund or credit of booking fee. I am currently not accepting cash, checks, Venmo or PayPal. Fall is my busiest season and trying to keep up on editing, sessions, gallery deliveries and emails is a lot and I am only one person. Chasing down unpaid invoice is very time consuming and can be an overwhelming task when there are so many. Please be sure to pay your invoice on time.
SCHEDULING TIPS
Everyone is busy and has a very busy schedule including myself. Please try to be as flexible as you can as I am managing many clients in my schedule at a time and many people often have scheduling difficulties.
Before choosing a date, make sure you know work, school, sports, dance etc schedules. Those are often reasons clients want to reschedule. Rescheduling causes a huge mess in my schedule and can make it very difficult to manage clients, get bookings etc.
Rescheduling for any reason other than weather is not option. Fall is one of my busiest times of year and my schedule is generally full. Rescheduling will be limited and available only for weather.

WARDROBE
I will be sending a prep guide after you book. This will go over wardrobe tips, guidelines and inspiration. For fall sessions, neutral and earthy tones are great! As well as colors that are deep and rich in color as opposed to bright. Fall sessions are best with a warm or neutral color pallet.
This will also includes tips on planning and preparing as well as the directions to the location.
