This session is done in your home and is very candid and in the moment.  There are no props or baby posing for this session.  I may do some relaxed family posing but the majority of this session is very in the moment with your family loving, snuggling and interacting with your new little one.  This is more of a documentary style session.  This can include photos of you nursing or even bathing baby.  Just your daily life with baby at home! Sometimes when baby has older siblings, adding an activity to your session helps keep everyone on track and together.  We can talk more about that after booking. 

This session also works great for older babies and can be done for babies up to 12 weeks (3 months old)

This session includes all member of your family living in the same household.

We can use rooms in your house such as the baby’s nursery, master bedroom, living room and even the kitchen.  These rooms will need to have windows with a lot of natural light coming in.   There is a bit of staging for this session but I will help you with this when the time comes and give more details and instructions for that.

This session can also take place outdoors if you prefer.  In a garden, patio. Front porch or outdoor living areas.

In-home sessions take place weekday mornings and outdoor sessions take place Monday-Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Unfortunately, I can not guarantee outdoor availability until after baby arrives.  It will all depend on my schedule at that time.

This session typically last 30-45 minutes.  Everyone should be dressed casually in light or neutral colored clothing.  Nothing dark or bright.  Baby can wear a simple onesie, romper, sleeper, or I do have some knit newborn wardrobe I can bring upon request in neutral tones. 

This session will include all the images from the gallery 50+ , in your download collection with a print release.

Travel fees may apply if you out side the Kankakee or Iroquois counties.
