Newborns

Newborn sessions are held in my natural light studio downtown Kankakee, IL weekday mornings.

Sessions are best reserved before you are 30 weeks. I take a limited number of newborns each month and sometimes spots fill up months in advance. Reserving a spot allows me to leave room in my schedule around your due date giving you priority in my availability. Waiting until closer to your due date or until baby arrives is not ideal. I may not have availability or be able to get you in the best time frame for baby.

To reserve your spot all I need is your due date, package type and the paid booking fee. All newborn sessions require a $100 non-refundable, non-transferrable booking fee to reserve your spot. This does come off the total due. Balance is due when baby arrives.

Most newborn sessions take place when baby is between 7-15 days old. Sessions that are posed and include props take place in this time frame. I do offer packages that can be used for older babies, up to 12 weeks old.

Bump to baby discount is available when you book both a maternity and newborn session at the same time!

Deluxe Newborn Session

Simple and gentle baby posing with a portion of the session focused on just baby. I will use props, wraps, hats, bows etc. for this session.

For babies 5-15 days old

Includes in the moment and subtle posing for the family/sibling/parent portion.

Baby Only

This session focuses completely on baby with simple and gentle baby posing. I will use props, wraps, hats bows etc for this session. No family/parent/sibling images

This session is for baby only and includes 1 simple set up for baby with either props, bean bag or blanket poses.

Just Family

This session is perfect if you are looking to just grab some shots with baby and the family with a few simple shots of just baby.

For babies 5 days-12 weeks old

This session includes baby + family images. There are no props or baby posing for this session.

Very simple in the moment session. Very relaxed with relaxed family posing. Session focuses on family as a whole and your connection and bond with your new little one as well as a few simple shots of just baby. Lots of snuggling and interaction. Come prepared to snuggle up and get cozy!

Lifestyle Session

This session takes place in your home or outdoors at your home. This is not a posed session and does not include props or baby posing. This session focuses on your family as a whole and the newest family member showing the love and connection you all have!

For babies 5 days- 12 weeks old.

Lifestyle sessions are very unique since it is in or at your home. Very relaxed and interactive. Just your family being themselves in their own environment!

Indoor lifestyle sessions take place weekday mornings. Outdoor sessions take place Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings about an hour or do before sunset. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee outdoor availability. It will all depend on my schedule when baby arrives.

Travel fees will apply if outside the Kankakee or Iroquois counties.
