Family Sessions
My family sessions are very fun and relaxed! I try to keep them stress free by keeping a low-key vibe and making the session all about you! I want you to enjoy our time together.
I offer a variety of sessions from studio to outdoors, big and small! I have recently redesigned my packages to offer a session for everyone!
A $100 non refundable booking fee is required to hold your date
Homestyle
Homestyle sessions are all about you!!! These take place in or at your home. These are very relaxed and lifestyle. Just your family doing what they do! A very unique family session that is a bit different than most and can be customized to your family!
This session is also very in the moment with lots of snuggles and cuddles.
There are morning and evening options available!
Studio
Studio session are relaxed and cozy in my natural light studio. The lighting offers a soft, fresh feel with all neutral aesthetic. The studio is a place you can snuggle up and get close. I have a bed and couch I often use for sessions that help you and your family get even closer!
Prepare for lots of hugs, kisses and lots of interaction! Studio sessions offer a more intimate approach to your family session.
These are a bit more traditional with relaxed posing, everyone looking at the camera, mixed with some in the moment style.
This session is for smaller families of 6 or less. More than 6 subjects will need an outdoor session.
Wardrobe for this session are more color specific. Only light colors like white, cream, ivory etc and neutral colors for this session. No dark or bright colors. I will go over more of this in the prep guide.
Studio sessions take place weekday mornings all year long! I also offer in home lifestyle sessions that can make your session even more special and unique.
Outdoor
Outdoor sessions capture that beautiful golden light and warmth! I want your family to show off your love and connection! Sessions are very in the moment to capture all of those unscripted moments that happen when no one is forcing smiles or posing. That's where the story happens and that's where I come in! Prepare for hand holding, movement, & fun! All a part of telling your story!
Outdoor sessions take place May-October: Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays about an hour before sunset. Sessions take place in Kankakee and the surrounding areas. Sessions can also take place at your home. Ask me if I travel to your area and about travel fees.
Extended Family
Large/Extended Family session are for families that want to capture photos with Grandmas, Grandpas, grandchildren, Aunts and uncles.
This session will get you everything you need in groupings, individual shots, families, generations etc.
Session is a bit more traditional with relaxed posing, and I throw in some in the moment shots.
These usually take place outdoors since families are usually bigger. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings about an hour or two prior to sunset.
In a rare case with a smaller extended family the studio is an option. Weekday Mornings only. Specific wardrobe requirements for the studio. Only light and neutral tones for studio sessions.
The best time of year to di this session in during the summer when the weather is nicer and we can get outside with plenty of room.
Tavel is an option, but I do not travel to every location and travel fees may apply. Please contact me to find out if I can travel to you.
Please note, I do not photograph events, weddings, parties etc.
